June Favorites!!!

So for my first, actual, beauty related post, I thought it would be a safe bet to post my 3 favorite beauty products of the month!!! I chose Jack Black Lip Balm, Maybelline Line Stiletto Liquid Eyeliner, and Bliss Steep Clean Pore Purifying Mask.

This lip balm is incredible!!!  It's from a fabulous company called Jack Black, who produce a wide range of Men's skin care and men's grooming products.  I first heard about this lip balm from youtube make-up artist Leesha, aka, xsparkage.  I went out and bought the natural mint flavored lip balm and I instantly fell in love.  When I would apply my old lip balms, my lips would feel ok for 5 minutes, then I'd have to re-apply and in another 5 minutes I'd have to do it again.  Since I started using this balm, I barely have to apply it once a day.  My lips feel soft and smooth all day, without having to re-apply several times.   It doesn't feel heavy or sticky or glumpy.  I purchased 3 tubes total, one for my purse, one for my car, and one for my make-up kit.
There are 5 flavors, Natural Mint & Shea Butter, Grapefruit & Ginger, Black Tea & Blackberry, Lemon and Chamomile, and Vanilla & Lavender.  All 5 balms contain super moisturizing conditioners, with UVA and UVB sunscreens, so it protects against sunburn and windburn.  They can be purchased at Sephora, or at Jack Black.  The average cost at both these retailers is $7.50 for a .25 oz. tube, or $30 for all 5 flavor tubes!

Next is Maybelline's Line Stiletto Liquid Eyeliner.  One of my favorite make-up looks to do is a classic pin-up winged liner look. This eyeliner is perfect for creating a crisp clean line to elongate and define my eyes.  Every liquid liner is different, some brands use bristle applicators, some have a pen like tip, some use a separate liner brush, but this liner uses a flexible felt tip that doesn't tug or drag on delicate eyelid skin.  Line Stiletto comes in 3 colors, Blackest Black, Black, and Brownish Black.  The formula has amazing staying power, as it easily stays on for a minimum for 8 hours.  It's safe for sensitive eyes, contact wearers, and has been ophthalmologist tested.
The average price for Line Stiletto is $7.  It can be purchased at retailers such as UltaTarget, or Walmart.

And lastly is a fantastic product from Bliss, called Steep Clean Pore Purifying Mask, sometimes known as the 15 minute pore clearing "facial-in-a-bottle"  My mom purchased this mask for herself, but I tend to use it more often than she does.  I love it because it exfoliates my skin, making it smooth and soft, as well as brightens my complexion and minimizes break-outs. Inside the bottle are 2 chambers which hold the 2 separate compounds, that activate when mixed together.  The top has a dual-chamber dispenser, which must be pushed down at equal times with equal pressure.  Mixing the blue and yellow compounds together activates the product's enzymes, and can then be applied to the skin.  Once you've apply the desired amount of the mask, you must wait at least 15 minutes for the enzymes to accomplish their full effect.  Either splash your face with warm water, or use a wet washcloth to remove the mask.
This product can be used about once per week, but sometimes I'll use it twice in a week, especially if my skin is feeling oily and dirty.
I wish the price of this mask was a little easier on the wallet, a 3.4 fl oz. tube cost $54, and an 8.5 fl oz. "pro size" tube cost $95.  While the price is a little steep (Pun intended) the benefits of this product greatly outweigh the cost.  Also, considering I usually only use this product once a week, it tends to last me a couple of months.  This specific product can be purchased online at Bliss and at retail stores like Sephora.  Ulta recently began selling Bliss, and so they only sell a limited list of products.  Steep Clean Mask is (sadly) not on that short list, but some of their other best selling products are.  I'm planning on purchasing more Bliss facial care products in the near future, and I will be writing my review of them, so check back here often.

Really hope this helps you find your next favorite product!!!
